About this house rental

This two-bedroom, single-storey property is located in the pretty village of Yarmouth on the west coast of the Isle of Wight. With riverside and coastal walks straight from the door, it’s a great holiday home for a small family looking for outdoor activities. From the property, it’s less than a mile to Yarmouth Harbour, a busy harbour with a stunning pier; it’s a charming place to idle away the hours watching the fishing boats, sailing vessels, and motorboats. Alternatively discover independent shops, cafes, and restaurants in the town centre. For a family day out head 0.5 miles to Fort Victoria Country Park and explore its nature trails, planetarium, and reptile displays. The more energetic can enjoy stunning hiking trails and dramatic sea views at Tennyson Down (4 miles).


Spread over one floor, the interiors are simple and inviting with creamy walls and plenty of natural light making the open-plan living area wonderfully relaxing. In the spacious lounge, you’ll find a bright sofa and armchair overlooking a large conservatory. Take it easy in the lounge with a film on the TV, or enjoy a family meal at the table with seating for four people. For further relaxation, step through to the sunny conservatory and enjoy the pretty garden views. A well-equipped kitchen is situated off from the living area and has all the appliances you’ll need for a comfortable stay. When it’s time for bed, choose between a lovely super-king bedroom, and an en-suite king-size bedroom. Both bedrooms are effortlessly neat and uncluttered. There’s also a modern family bathroom.


Outside, the enclosed garden features a pond and the lawn is the ideal spot to bask in the sun or linger over an al fresco lunch at the patio table. There’s also private off-street parking for two cars.
