About this cottage rental

This superb retreat in an idyllic rural location, just 3 miles from the glorious North Cornwall coast, is perfect for a gathering of family or friends to share a wonderful holiday or celebrate a special occasion. The secluded and spacious house sits above a beautiful, wooded creek leading from the River Camel in the peaceful village of Little Petherick. Sleeping 11 guests, with a welcome for three dogs, it has a hot tub, a tennis court and glorious views across the creek. The vibrant fishing port of Padstow, with shops, pubs and splendid seafood restaurants is 3.5 miles away and golden family beaches are within easy reach.


Beautifully furnished in contemporary style, this outstanding holiday home is exceptionally light and airy. Both the bright kitchen/diner and luxurious lounge, with sumptuous seating, have bi-fold doors opening onto outdoor seating areas overlooking the creek. There is also a desk and chair with printer and a sonos system completing the indulgent lounge. Teens will enjoy the cosy snug housing a Smart TV, with sound bar and separate speaker and a PlayStation 5 with controllers and a few games. Upstairs, there is a family bathroom, two en-suites and five bedrooms, each with a wonderful outlook the west wing bedroom with the ensuite bathroom features a Smart TV. Outside are two delightfully large patios, with outdoor dining furniture, two BBQs, a firepit and a children’s swing. Unwind in the hot tub, and enjoy a game on the covered tennis court, which includes football goals and a table tennis table.


Keen walkers will enjoy direct access to the unspoiled countryside via the long-distance Saints Way footpath. Stroll down Padstow’s narrow streets to the colourful harbour and climb aboard a marine sea safari. Just 0.5 miles away is Prideaux Place, an historic Elizabethan country house, set in beautiful grounds. Gorgeous sandy beaches include Harlyn Bay (6 miles), and dog-friendly Harbour Cove and Hawker’s Cove (both 5 miles). Camel Creek Adventure Park (3 miles) offers family fun rides, with a roller coaster for tots and indoor play.
