About this cottage rental

This delightful cottage, situated in the charming coastal village of Mundesley, is perfect for families or friends seeking a peaceful seaside getaway. Sleeping five guests over three spacious bedrooms, everyone will find their own corner to relax in here. Head half a mile to the beach for evening strolls before returning home; get the BBQ on and enjoy a relaxed al fresco dinner in the rear courtyard garden, or watch the children run around in the enclosed front garden on the lawn.

Step inside this gorgeous property and be greeted by a cosy living area. Exposed beams, farmhouse-style doors and neutral decor beckon you to sink into the sofas in front of the wood burner, recharging your batteries after a day at the beach. The beautiful kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, with exposed brick, an AGA and a superb tiled floor. Once dinner is ready, eat in the lovely farmhouse-style dining area surrounded by Shaker-style units. The bright and airy sunroom is the perfect place to escape for some peace and quiet to read your favourite book. The ground-floor bathroom has a great beach hut feel, with rich woods and sandy tones that make it perfect for a sumptuous soak in the bath before heading up to bed for a great night’s sleep. Head out into either of the outside spaces. The rear courtyard has plush outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ, whilst the front lawned area is perfect for children and dogs who need to let off a bit of steam.

When you’re ready for a livelier coastal town, head to Cromer (8 miles) where amusements, ice cream shops and the famous pier will keep the whole family busy when you’re not on the beach. The National Trust’s Felbrigg (10 miles) and Blickling (13 miles) estates are ideal for a leisurely stroll around, while the Bure Valley Railway (14 miles) offers nostalgic journeys from Aylsham to Wroxham. The nature lovers among you will enjoy a visit to Cley Marshes (20 miles) where you’ll see many migrating and rare birds.
