About this cottage rental
This spectacular home sleeps up to 12 guests and makes the perfect retreat for an extended family holiday or trip among friends. It’s less than a mile from Rock Beach, with breathtaking views over the estuary and out to sea. Rock itself is a lively coastal village with boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, plus opportunities to try out water sports such as surfing, kayaking and sailing. Families will love Polzeath’s surfing beach and the safe sands of Daymer Bay (2 miles), while TV fans can visit Port Isaac (7 miles), famous for Doc Martin. For a day out, Tintagel Castle (13 miles) offers a taste of Arthurian legend. Closer to home, golf enthusiasts can take on the championship course at St Enodoc Golf Club, right on Rock’s edge.
Step into the welcoming hallway and you’ll find two ground-floor bedrooms, both with super-king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms, alongside a large games room where you can play pool or table tennis, plus a handy utility room. Head upstairs to the gorgeous lounge, which has bi-fold doors opening out onto a decked terrace with sweeping sea views. Unwind here after days of Cornish adventure, sinking into the soft sofas and catching up on your favourite series on the Smart TV. When stomachs begin to rumble, find that the light and bright open-plan kitchen/diner is a wonderful space to spend time.
