About this cottage rental

The mock-Tudor-style holiday studio is a superb hideaway for a couple planning a holiday in Wiltshire. Characterised by period features, a stunning fireplace, wood panelling, and a four-poster bed, this is a quirky and unique place to stay. The property is situated in Tollard Royal on the Rushmore Estate which has an 18-hole golf course and extensive woodlands to explore. The property is situated at Larmer Tree Gardens within the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and hosts the End of the Road Festival which takes place during the last weekend of August each year. Other local attractions include Win Green, the highest point in Dorset (3.5 miles), Gold Hill in Shaftesbury famous for the Hovis advert (8 miles), and Blandford Forum (10.5 miles).


This delightful studio apartment is divided across two storeys. The downstairs adopts an open-plan layout with lounge, dining and kitchen areas. The room centres around a decorative fireplace and is defined by tasteful, period wood panelling and a large window that looks out into your own peaceful garden. There is a wood burner, as well as a Smart TV to unwind in front of after a long day of touring. There is a dining table with seating for two by the window too. You will find a well-equipped kitchen, which is connected to the lounge area. The property’s upstairs is accessed via an external, covered staircase; this is where you will encounter the charming king-size bedroom with its period-style four-poster bed. Completing the interior is a well-appointed en-suite shower room with WC.


Stepping outside, there is an enclosed garden area with furniture which makes for a wonderful spot for a quiet evening tipple – keep an eye out for the estate's pretty peacocks.
