About this chalet rental
This modern and quirky log cabin offers everything you need for the perfect family getaway, or couples looking to make the most of a romantic retreat. Nestled in private woodland beside a fishing lake, you will be surrounded by birds and wildlife. There are miles of walks to experience, or you can visit the historic town of Newark (7 miles), with its spectacular castle. Explore the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, or browse the exhibits at the National Civil War Centre, just 7 miles away. Belvoir Castle is 5 miles away, and Southwell Racecourse is only 13 miles. Alternatively, an award-winning day spa is just up the road (6 miles). Other nearby attractions include a golf course (9.5 miles), Belvoir Waters fishing lake (3 miles), and for family days out, try Belton House Adventure Playground (7.5 miles).
Throw open the door to the cabin and enter the living area where the cosy furnishings make this a relaxing and welcoming place to sit. Sink into the comfy sofas with a good book on a cold winter's evening. If you're an early riser, why not enjoy your morning coffee just inside the lounge window allowing the beaming sun to prepare you for your day. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a tasty breakfast or meal. When it's time for bed, head for a peaceful slumber in one of the two double bedrooms and relax! Completing the property is the large shower room with a vanity unit, robes and toiletries.
Outside, you will find a patio with manicured flowerbeds and seating overlooking the lake and countryside. You can also enjoy hours of fishing in the lake. There are acres of scenic walks or relax while the kids enjoy the vast amount of space to play football, rounders, cricket and other outdoor games.
