About this cottage rental
This welcoming, traditional cottage, set in pretty lawned grounds, is perfect for friends or families looking for a tranquil holiday close to some of Cornwall’s most beautiful places. In this delightful location between Sennen and Lands’ End, a footpath near the cottage leads to the secluded and little-known Nanjizel Cove, less than a mile away, where dogs are allowed all year round.
An attractive property that is a secret haven and stylishly decorated throughout. It offers plenty of space and a wood burner to keep the chill out in the cooler months, making it perfect at any time of year. The property offers a relaxing blend of a cottage feel and contemporary comfort. The ground floor living room is furnished with plush sofas and is a great space for socialising or watching the Smart TV. The kitchen/dining area has all the amenities to cook and then linger over memorable meals. There are two bedrooms: one double and one twin, and a shower room. You will find a bedroom with sea views and an en-suite shower room upstairs. An external staircase leads to the garden. The sheltered, enclosed garden with lawns and a patio area with garden furniture is a great spot for an afternoon or evening drink on fine days.
The property is less than a mile from Land’s End, where you can walk in either direction along the cliffs from the car park. Drive to the pretty fishing village of Porthcurno, with its shell beach and turquoise sea, where you can look out for basking sharks and dolphins. If you book in advance, you can spend the evening there and attend a performance in the unique open-air theatre of Minack. Head to Sennen Beach (2 miles) for water sports, where you can build sandcastles or enjoy surfing.
