About this cottage rental
A contemporary retreat in the small coastal village of Winthorpe, this superb holiday home is just 150 metres from miles of unspoiled, sandy beach. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom, dog-friendly Lincolnshire cottage is perfect for a family and comes with an enclosed garden complete with a hot tub to luxuriate in after days out. Just 2 miles from the popular seaside town of Skegness, it offers the best of both worlds. Head into the seaside town to potter in the shops, dine out in a range of eateries and enjoy seaside attractions. Visit the aquarium, walk along the pier or have a donkey ride on the golden beach, which is popular with families. Winthorpe Beach is quieter, as well as nearer, and a firm favourite with dog walkers. Those who enjoy hiking might also like to venture out into the undulating Lincolnshire Wolds, which begin 8.5 miles from the cottage.
Make your way into the gated property via the hall, where you can leave flip-flops, walking boots and other outside wear. Amble through to the large lounge, which is the perfect space to socialise and spend quality time together during your stay. This long room, which boasts an exquisite, herringbone floor, is a superb space all year round. Open the French doors during the summer months or relax on the sofas when the cooler months draw in, with a family film on the Smart TV. More French doors can be found in the modern kitchen/diner, which has been designed with everything you might require for holiday cooking. Unpack any groceries and freshly grown Lincolnshire produce you have bought before cooking up a feast for everyone to enjoy together at the table. A WC and utility cupboard are also conveniently located downstairs. As the sun goes down on each exciting day away, venture up to your comfortable bedrooms on the first floor. Here you have two lovely king-size rooms, both with Smart TVs and ample storage, and one with an en-suite shower room. There is also a single-trundle bedroom with a Smart TV. The family bathroom has both a bath and a shower, giving you the option of indulging in a long, hot soak or a quick rinse.
Spend as much time as possible out in the enclosed garden. Bubble in the steaming hot tub and dine on the patio in the fresh air. Play games with the children on the grass. There is private parking here for one car, plus additional on-street parking, subject to availability.
