About this cottage rental

Offering fresh and airy accommodation for four guests, this delightful cottage has been sympathetically updated, with a host of charming touches and original features making an ideal base for walkers, nature lovers and cyclists discovering an idyllic part of Somerset. The property sits in an ideal spot in Middlezoy, a tranquil village set in the low-lying wetlands of the Somerset Levels, close to the River Parrett. The village has a great range of attractions and amenities including a pub, a community shop and a country kitchen cafe (all within walking distance). There’s also a recreation park with a children’s play area, ball court and football pitch. The local boutique health spa accepts day visitors, with a wealth of treatments. Explore the beautiful scenery of the Somerset Levels, the Quantocks and the North Somerset coastline. The cheerful seaside resort of Burnham-on-Sea is just 17 miles away. Other nearby attractions include Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor, Cheddar Gorge, West Somerset railway, several RSPB sites, Clark's Outlet Village and the market town of Langport.

Entering this inviting and surprisingly spacious cottage, the welcoming hallway leads to the comfortable lounge which has ample seating, a Smart TV and a snug wood burner set in a stone fireplace – making a relaxing space for everyone to unwind after a day out. Heading through, the stylishly arranged dining room features a handsome central table and further seating. Two steps lead up into a beautifully equipped and thoughtfully organised kitchen, where you’ll find everything needed for a self-catered break. Exploring the ground floor further, the bright and cheerful conservatory overlooks the garden and makes an ideal spot to curl up with a good book. The ground floor also has a utility room and a WC. From the lounge, stairs lead up to the first floor where you will find a refreshing family bathroom with a shower over the bath plus a WC. This floor also features two bedrooms: a light and airy double bedroom and a cosy twin room perfect for big and little ones.

Stepping outside from the conservatory, the enclosed rear garden is a welcoming suntrap and has a seating area and generous lawn, making an ideal space for everyone to laze in the sun and enjoy a BBQ. Parking is on-street and in close proximity to the cottage. For those of you who have furry friends this accommodation is ideally based within an area with many scenic dog walks and dog friendly pubs.
