Just 8 miles away is Dalby Forest, with its network of walking, cycling, and mountain bike trails, and a fascinating sculpture trail, plus a Go Ape course. Pickering is 2.5 miles away where you can hop aboard the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and venture to the Gothic coastal town of Whitby (20 miles). Alternative days out from the cottage include the Victorian seaside resort of Scarborough (16 miles), Flamingo Land (6 miles), and the beautiful walled gardens of Scampston Hall (10 miles).The quaint stone cottage still retains many of its original features, giving the property a real sense of character.
