Brimming with rustic charm, this charming North Norfolk cottage is set in the friendly village of Colkirk, 3 miles from the market town of Fakenham. It provides a peaceful getaway for up to four guests across two bedrooms – perfect for couples or a small family. You’ll have cycle and walking paths from your doorstep. Visit the much-loved Pensthorpe Natural Park (7 miles), featured on BBC’s Springwatch, and explore the breathtaking North Norfolk Coast (12 miles)– spend days exploring its sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and pretty harbour towns. You could even take a seasonal boat trip to see the area’s famous seal colony, or wander through the RSPB marshes and nature reserves that draw birdwatchers from far and wide.

On arrival, step straight into the cosy living room complete with soft seating. A wood burner set within an exposed brick fireplace creates the perfect spot for unwinding in front of the Smart TV – just what you need when you’ve been out all day. The classic cottage kitchen has a lovely apron sink and elegant wooden panelling. A small wooden dining table with stools sets you up for sociable mealtimes. A staircase from the kitchen takes you upstairs where you’ll find two good-sized bedrooms – one king and one twin – along with a shower room and WC with a pretty patterned floor. Wooden beams and barn-style doors contribute to the character of this quaint little home.

Outside the back door, you’ll have a courtyard with seating, while a, short, rear pathway brings you to your own exclusive gated garden space overlooking paddocks, clearly signposted for your use.
