To the east, the famous pier of Cromer (4.5 miles) is well worth a visit, while to the west, the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve at Salthouse (5.5 miles) offers the chance to spot rare wildlife. Stay closer to home with just half a mile's walk down to the beach of Sheringham or dine out here by sampling locally-caught fresh seafood suppers and ice cream from traditional parlours.
