About this cottage rental

Perched on a cliff top with awe-inspiring sea views, this welcoming, dog-friendly home sits in the heart of Polperro – a captivating fishing village brimming with character. Spend unhurried days wandering its narrow, winding streets lined with colourful cottages and friendly pubs, or drop into the Polperro Heritage Museum (150 metres) for fascinating tales of maritime life and smuggling legends. Keen to pull on your hiking boots? Join the South West Coast Path (0.5 miles) for invigorating hikes. Fans of sandy toes will fall in love with the golden beach and gentle waters at Talland Bay (4 miles), perfect for picnics, paddling and water sports like kayaking and paddleboarding. Further adventures await in the charming coastal towns of Looe (4.5 miles) and Fowey (7.5 miles), where boat trips and tempting seafood restaurants offer plenty of ways to while away the afternoon.


The house is approached via a shared gated entrance, then up a gently sloping, stepped pathway leading to the veranda. Step inside to a handy lobby that flows into a cosy lounge, with the dining area just to the rear and a door out to a decked terrace for fresh-air breakfasts or sunset drinks. The well-equipped kitchen sits just beyond, along with a convenient downstairs shower room and WC. Head upstairs from the lobby to a landing where you’ll find three restful bedrooms – a super-king-size with dual-aspect sea views over the village, harbour and out to sea, a second double and a bunk room that also benefits from sea views. Completing this floor is a large family bathroom room.

To the front of the property, you’ll have a lovely veranda where you can really make the most of those sea views. A side-decked terrace offers a second spot to lay back and relax on the sun loungers and enjoy the sunshine. Secure parking is available in a private car park nearby.
