Minutes from Cannon Beach and Manzanita you get the benefits of a magical cove with access to the resources of nearby destination towns. Oswald West State Park trails and Short Sand Beach (best surfing in Oregon) are part of the fun nearby. You have the best of all worlds at our cozy coastal cottage!
This comfortable cottage sits nestled amongst the trees with easy access to Cove Beach a few minutes walk down Tide Ave! This home is a quiet retreat for those who want a restorative space to discover the Oregon Coast. Relax on the large sunny deck and watch the waves roll in, the glorious sunsets, and whale watching in the Fall!
The space
An updated 3 bedroom 1 bath open floor plan with a warm sauna to greet you after a day at the beach. The cottage is minutes from Oswald West State Park and Short Sands Beach (best surfing in all of Oregon), with Manzanita (10 minute drive) and Cannon Beach (15 minute drive) also nearby. Fully loaded kitchen opens up to a main living room anchored by a wood stove and a side TV den. We have a very private sitting area in the backyard with views of the Pacific from the elevated sauna deck. Nearby Falcon Cove Marine Preserve has great tide pools. Although public, Cove Beach is very lightly used as there is no public parking which restricts access. You can walk 1/3 of a mile from the cabin into Oswald West State Park and which has enchanting old growth forest and views of ocean. The Oregon Coast Trail is nearby as well.
A chef's kitchen includes: blender, toaster, pressure cooker, hand mixer, pots and pans, bakeware, Kuerig coffee maker, espresso percolator, french press, water boiler, and a gas grill.
