About this house rental
Welcome to Hôtel Maman, a charming little house located in Bretteville, just a few minutes from Cherbourg. Recently renovated and thoughtfully decorated, it has been designed as a cozy retreat—perfect for a romantic getaway or a family stay with young children.
The space
The house is centered around a warm and inviting living area, where the wood stove creates a soft, welcoming atmosphere all year round. After a day by the sea or exploring the Cotentin trails, it’s the perfect place to relax, read, cook, or simply enjoy the moment.
The kitchen is well equipped, making it easy to prepare your meals.
The house features a separate bedroom, a shower room, and a sofa bed in the living room, comfortably accommodating up to 4 guests.
At the entrance, a small terrace invites you to enjoy a sunny coffee or breathe in the fresh sea air. The house also offers a lovely glimpse of the sea—reminding you that the coast is never far away.
An ideal base for discovering Cherbourg and the Cotentin, with its wild beaches, charming harbors, and preserved landscapes.

Guests have access to the entire house.
Bed linen, towels, and kitchen linens are provided, so you can travel light.
For families, we can provide upon request:
a travel cot with mattress and sheets
a high chair
Upon arrival, you’ll also find a few essentials to get you started: coffee, oil, salt, pepper, and some basic supplies for your convenience.
