About this cottage rental
Drive up to The Cottage, a traditional country home nestled in the picturesque village of Finmere. With its classic charm and welcoming character, this cottage blends old-world warmth with modern comfort.
Step inside to a fully equipped kitchen featuring an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, and all the cookware you need. Gather around the large dining table for family meals, laughter, and games that last long into the evening.
There are two inviting lounge areas to unwind in. The main lounge features an open fire (first nights logs supplied) three generous sofas, and a Smart TV – perfect for cosy movie nights after a day exploring the countryside. The second lounge offers a peaceful reading nook and games area, ideal for children to play board games or build with Lego. A downstairs WC completes this floor.
Upstairs, you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms – two spacious doubles with bedside tables and hanging space, and a charming single room with a pull-out trundle bed, perfect for little ones or an extra guest. The family bathroom includes a bath with an overhead shower and a large vanity unit with plenty of storage for everyone’s essentials.
Outside, the large wrap-around garden is surrounded by high hedges, offering complete privacy – a haven for children and dogs to run freely. Enjoy outdoor seating, a BBQ, and parking for 2–3 cars. Tucked just off the kitchen is the private hot tub, ready for you to sink into with your favourite drink under the stars – whatever the season. To the side, you will discover a rustic barn games room complete with a large table tennis table and dart board.
