Stag Cottage is a sandstone fronted cottage set in the village of Motherby, close to Penrudduck, and can sleep four people. There is a Kingsize bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom, a ground floor wet room and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside there is ample off road parking and a lawned garden with patio and furniture. Stag Cottage is a lovely base to spend your well deserved holiday.
The Neighborhood:
The charming traditional village of Penruddock is situated in a secluded position in the northern Lake District between Keswick and Penrith, and just four miles from Ullswater. The popular town of Keswick is nearby and has a number of shops and restaurants, as well as miniature golf, good parks, the Theatre by the Lake and a cinema.

We had a fantastic time at Stag Cottage despite landing in the middle of Storm Dennis. Helen, her Mum & Alan the caretaker were so helpful to us & went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
The cottage is so cosy & done out to a really high standard with everything you could need. The area is stunning, so close to the Lakes and the mountain views give a sense of peace & tranquility. If only life was like that more often!
