Wildlife is part of the experience here—deer roam freely, wild turkey are often spotted, and cattle graze nearby, all visible from the porch or your private fire pit. Despite the seclusion, you're just 10 miles south of Fredericksburg for easy access to wineries, dining, and shopping.
The home is a private upstairs unit featuring two king bedrooms, a full kitchen, a bright living area with large view-filled windows, and a queen sleeper sofa. Enjoy modern comforts like Wi-Fi, Roku TV, and central heat and air, along with outdoor space to relax, grill, and take in the scenery.
Pet-friendly and perfectly positioned for privacy and views, Far View Gasthaus is your ideal Hill Country getaway.
LOCATION - 10 miles south of Fredericksburg, TX on 10 acres in a gated community. Your hosts live onsite in a separate home, but provide complete privacy.
HOST - Private home to yourself. Your host has a separate residence on the property
SLEEPS - Up to 6 people in 2 king bedrooms & a queen sleeper sofa in the living room
BATH - 1 jack and jill bath w/ a walk-in shower
KITCHEN - Full kitchen with a traditional coffeemaker
AMENITIES - 40" Roku TV, WiFi, outdoor seating, fully fenced backyard with firepit (wood furnished) when burn ban is not in effect, outdoor BBQ grill (charcoal not provided), great views with an abundance of wildlife

Please be aware that the accommodation is on the second floor above a garage and is accessed from an exterior staircase. Also, the single bathroom is a jack and jill style. Furthermore, the garages beneath your accommodation are exclusively for your host and are unavailable for guest use.
The home is dog-friendly and will accept up to two dogs that are each 40 lbs or less. However, there is a pet fee of $33/dog/night (before tax). Due to the fact that HomeAway/VRBO does not allow us to charge for more than one dog at the time of booking, please let us know if you will be bringing more than one dog, so that we can make sure that you are charged the correct amount. Furthermore, please bring crates for your dogs and crate them in your absence from the house, do not allow the dogs on furniture or beds, and pick up and properly dispose of their waste. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.
