About this cottage rental
Offering a cosy and comfortable base for exploring this stunning part of Yorkshire and the Dales National Park. Set in a beautiful and very peaceful location, it's easy to forget that this cottage is just off the bustling market square in Leyburn. Renovated by the owners to a high standard, this charming and welcoming cottage is comfortably furnished for a lovely stay in the Dales. With on-road parking at the rear of the property, you can simply park up, unpack and enjoy.
Lavender cottage retains many attractive original features, including beams, wooden floors, a window seat and a feature fireplace. The traditional kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances and has room for four to sit together at the table. Upstairs you will find a characterful master bedroom with it's comfortable bed and cotton bedding to ensure a restful nights sleep. A cosy second bedroom has a bunk bed that is ideal for two children; the cottage is therefore well suited for a couple or 2 adults/ 2 children.

South facing patio with garden furniture, with 4 steps down to cottage entrance.

Living room: 32" Smart TV, electric stove
Kitchen/dining room: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: Bunk (3ft) Beds
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet.
Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and welcome pack included.
A little more about the location: Leyburn, is the 'gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park', boasting quaint local shops and cafés, traditional pubs and a weekly farmers’ market. It makes the perfect base for guests to enjoy walking, cycling, sightseeing or just a quiet, romantic break. Stroll along the famous Leyburn Shawl, which is only a few steps from the Market Place in the centre of Leyburn, and is accessible for walkers of all abilities and ages. A short drive away is Hardraw, home to England’s highest unbroken waterfall. Why not visit Castle Bolton, Middleham Castle, Constable Burton Hall Gardens or nearby Aysgarth Falls? Hop on the Wensleydale Vintage Bus to Ripon or Hawes, or ride the train on the Wensleydale Railway. Visit the nearby Forbidden Corner attraction in Coverdale where guests can follow a trail of follies, or head to the Georgian market town of Richmond, which offers many shops, restaurants, pubs and tea shops.
