Promenade Studio With Free Parking!

The location was excellent and having parking available in Santa Monica was very convenient. The inside of the unit was clean upon arrival and housekeeping did improve the smell inside the unit temporarily during the stay.

The biggest issue was the stress surrounding the legality of the rental. The building had multiple posted signs stating that short-term rentals were illegal and warning guests they could potentially be trespassed. The host instructed us to ignore the signs and claimed they had permits, but after checking with the City of Santa Monica, we did not feel reassured. My daughter and I felt uncomfortable and anxious during the stay because of this. The building hallways also had a very strong odor. In addition, only one small set of towels per person was provided for the entire stay, which was insufficient. The bed was also unstable and very lightweight, if one person sat near the edge, the other person could feel themselves shifting or rolling.
