From the moment I arrived at Beaver Lake Estates, I felt an immediate sense of peace. The home is the definition of hygge; warm, grounded, deeply comfortable, and surrounded by the quiet beauty of the woods with peaceful lake scenes. Every day brought deer, birdsong, and the feeling of being able to truly exhale. The porch quickly became my favorite place to spend time. Between the woodland views, the fresh air, and the complete stillness, it felt restorative in the best possible way. Inside, the home is incredibly cozy and thoughtfully designed. The fireplace, living room, comfortable beds, and beautiful primary suite made it easy to imagine this being just as magical for a winter retreat as it was in spring. For me personally, this stay was the perfect balance between work and restoration while traveling back and forth to meetings in Bentonville. I could absolutely see this being ideal for a girls’ weekend, a writing retreat, or a quiet couples getaway. It’s the kind of place that helps your nervous system settle the minute you walk through the door. A few practical notes for future guests: definitely do your grocery shopping before arriving, since stores are not especially close by. But honestly, once you arrive, you may not want to leave anyway. The coffee setup alone is worth mentioning…absolutely divine. Gosia has created something truly special here: not just a beautiful house, but a deeply comforting experience. I would return again in a heartbeat.
