The space
Built in the 1940's by the village carpenter, Cherry Tree Cottage is a unique brick built and cedar clad property. It has been thoughtfully updated to feel comfortable, calm and easy to settle into, making it well suited to relaxed, slower-paced stays.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped for simple, unhurried self-catering, with an electric oven and four-ring hob, fridge with freezer box, dishwasher, microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine for easy mornings. Please note that, due to space limitations, there is no washing machine.
Sitting room
The sitting room is a cosy space to unwind at the end of the day, with a comfortable two-seater sofa and armchair. A wall-mounted 40” Smart TV is provided for relaxed evenings in, and there is a small dining table with seating for up to three guests.
Bedrooms
The cottage offers two comfortable bedrooms:
Bedroom one features a double bed, bedside table, mirror and wardrobe with drawer space.
Bedroom two has a 3’ single bed, bedside table with drawers and hanging hooks.
Both rooms are calm and comfortable — ideal for restful nights after a day outdoors.
Bathroom
The family shower room includes a walk-in rainfall shower, basin and WC, finished with clean, modern fittings.
Outside space
Cherry Tree Cottage sits within its own private, enclosed garden, offering a quiet spot to sit outside, enjoy a coffee, or relax after a day exploring the coast. Garden furniture is provided, and the enclosed fencing makes it suitable for dogs.
There is a private driveway with parking for one car, making arrival and departure straightforward.

Located on a quiet lane in the centre of Flamborough, this charming fishing village combines the best of Yorkshire hospitality with a stretch of the most stunning coastline. Miles of stunning cliff top walks stretch around the headland, from which you can take in views of the wildlife-rich coast. Perfect for long walks or quiet reflection, it's no wonder this is one of the most beloved beauty spots in Yorkshire.
You can enjoy fantastic fresh fish & chips at several eateries in the village, while the tearoom and ice-cream shop are perfect for afternoon treats. There are also several great pubs for cosying up by the fire with a drink in the evening.
The whole area is bursting with things to do. For day trips, why not visit the traditional seaside resorts of Bridlington and Filey, or take a boat trip from North Landing to spot puffins and seals in the outstanding Bempton Cliffs nature reserve and seabird sanctuary.
