The Byre offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, combining rustic charm with modern convenience. The spacious ground-floor living room provides a comfortable space to gather after days spent exploring, with an electric fire creating a cosy focal point. The adjoining kitchen and dining area is well equipped for preparing family meals, complete with thoughtful extras including a wine cooler and coffee machine.
Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor — a comfortable double and a twin — served by a family bathroom and separate WC, making this layout ideal for mixed groups or families. Upstairs, the master suite enjoys added privacy, featuring a kingsize bed and an en-suite bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower.
To the rear of the property, the enclosed garden is a real highlight. The decked area houses a superb private hot tub, perfect for relaxing under the stars after a day of adventure. With outdoor seating and a BBQ, it’s also ideal for al fresco dining during warmer months.

Set in the picturesque village of Chatton, The Byre enjoys a peaceful rural setting with excellent local amenities just moments away, including a village shop and welcoming pub. Nearby, Chatton Trout Fishery offers a well-stocked 14-acre lake and provides an enjoyable day out for fishing enthusiasts.
Just five miles inland lies the friendly market town of Wooler, locally known as Glendale A popular hub for walkers and cyclists, it offers access to scenic routes including St Cuthbert’s Way.
To the east, the coastal village of Bamburgh is renowned for its majestic fortress, Bamburgh Castle, and its sweeping expanse of golden sandy beach. The elegant Georgian town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, which straddles the salmon-rich River Tweed, and the cobbled market town of Alnwick, home to the iconic Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden, are both within easy driving distance and offer a wide range of shops, attractions and dining options.
Two well behaved dogs are welcome for an additional charge per dog per stay. Dogs are not allowed on furniture, in bedrooms or to be left unattended in house even if crated.
