About this bed and breakfast
You’ll have a private bedroom with a comfortable double bed, offering a restful space after a day of exploring, while sharing the kitchen, dining area, bathroom and living room with the friendly owner who lives in the property.
Guests are welcome to use the living room to relax and watch TV in the evenings, and the fully equipped kitchen to prepare their own meals at their convenience.
Note: Inside the bedroom, guests may use the left side of the wardrobe only; the right side is reserved for the owner’s personal belongings.
Access to the property involves several flights of stairs, both outside and inside the house, so it is most suitable for guests who are comfortable with stairs and looking for a traditional Edinburgh residential setting.
Our check-in method is simple and convenient: Self-check-in is the only option, with the key securely stored in a key safe at the property.
Free parking is available on the driveway; however, guests must liaise with the owner to ensure her vehicle is not blocked in. Alternatively, there are pay and display parking zones on the street operating Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm at £4.20 per hour.
Located in the desirable Merchiston and Bruntsfield area, you’ll be close to beautiful green spaces such as The Meadows and Bruntsfield Links, ideal for morning walks, jogging, or simply enjoying the open views. The city centre, Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle are easily reachable by bus, making it simple to explore the historic Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, Arthur’s Seat and the many museums, galleries, cafés and restaurants Edinburgh is famous for. The neighbourhood itself offers a charming village feel with independent shops, bakeries and local eateries, giving you the perfect balance between peaceful surroundings and easy access to the vibrant heart of the city.
Please note that a security deposit registration will need to be completed prior to arrival in order to receive the codes for check-in. No money is actually charged, but there is a pre-authorisation of 1 euro.
