Benllech, with a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops along with a sandy beach, is just 2 miles away. The island offers a fascinating sea zoo, historic Beaumaris Castle, Plas Newydd (National Trust) and boat rides to watch puffins. More active types will delight in the myriad of exhilarating outdoor activities available in the nearby Snowdonia National Park. There are excellent walking opportunities along the coastal path that encompasses the island. Beach 2 miles. Shop and restaurant 2 miles, pub 1 mile
