The Heerhuys is a beautiful 1930s holiday home on the grounds of Nature Holiday Bonte Haan, specially designed for groups up to 8 people who want to enjoy peace, nature, and authentic charm. This fully renovated accommodation exudes atmosphere: from the original layout to the warm interior and characteristic details that can be found everywhere.
As you step inside, you enter a spacious living kitchen with robust marl walls, a wood-burning stove, and large French doors leading to the garden. It's the kind of kitchen where you cook together, have long meals, and end the day by the crackling fire. Next to it is a cosy sitting room furnished with authentic Chesterfield armchairs — a place that invites relaxed evenings, good conversations, and a glass of wine.
The Heerhuys has four bedrooms, each with private bathroom facilities and a stunning view over the Limburg landscape. This means everyone has their own comfortable space, ideal for families, groups of friends or couples travelling together who still value privacy.
For those who want to work, play, or retreat for a moment, there is a separate work and play room, filled with board games and books. A pleasant space for children, but just as well for adults who want to read or work quietly.
Outside, a large, green garden with a canopy awaits, perfect for long evenings outdoors. The absolute highlight is the wood-fired hot tub, where you can relax under the starry sky while listening to whistling birds, the chickens in the yard, the neighbours' cows, and occasionally a tractor driving by.
