Cottage in Bibury
Reasons to book
About this cottage rental
The Farmhouse was made for shared time and unhurried days. For cooking together, lingering at the table, and lighting the fire as the light fades. Mornings arrive softly here, with no need to rush.
Tucked behind gates and open to wide fields, it feels calm and private, while Bibury remains close by. As part of our country estate, the Farmhouse can also be booked with a neighbouring cottage sleeping four additional guests. Whether together or apart, it is a place that invites you to settle.
The Space:
The Farmhouse sleeps six across three bedrooms, spread across the upper floors of the house.
The principal bedroom sits on the first floor, with a super king bed, an ensuite bathroom featuring a freestanding bath and double basins, and a spacious dressing room. A family bathroom is also found on this level.
Above, the second floor holds two generous double bedrooms. These rooms are connected, with access through one to the other, and share the family bathroom on the floor below.
Downstairs, the house unfolds gently from room to room. The kitchen is fully stocked and centred around an AGA, alongside an electric oven and hob, large fridge freezers, and a bean-to-cup coffee machine. The dining room forms the heart of the house, with an open fireplace and TV, and space to linger over meals. A snug with a log burner offers a cosy retreat, while a larger sitting room with a second fire is well-suited to slower evenings.
Guest Access:
The Farmhouse is yours to enjoy, inside and out. Outdoor spaces include a gated driveway, private patio with seating, a barbecue, fire pit, EV charger, barbecue hut, and hot tub.
The wider gardens and grounds are shared with the Cottage on the estate, yet there is ample room to spread out. A large enclosed garden opens onto fields beyond, while the Farmhouse itself has its own gated access and dedicated parking.
Walk directly from the front door into open countryside, following a public footpath across the fields. Bibury village is just a short walk away, around five minutes on foot, with no need to consider parking.
Other Things to Note:
The Farmhouse is dog-friendly. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome (£35 fee per dog).
Due to the property's age and Grade II listed status, the Farmhouse is not suitable for guests with mobility issues. There are stairs throughout, and some lower doorways where guests will need to take care.
Quiet hours run from 10:30 PM to 8 AM. No parties and no smoking indoors.
