New to VRBO but 5-star rated Guest Favorite on Airbnb! Kick back and relax in this elegantly furnished, freshly renovated historic home with hardwood floors and gorgeous trim throughout. A five minute drive to the Notre Dame campus and downtown South Bend. Just a short walk to Bamber’s Italian Market, South Bend Farmers Market, and Cloud Walking Coffee. Located on a quiet, dead-end street in a neighborhood filled with beautiful bungalows. Also within walking distance is the East Bank Hiking Trail along the St. Joe River. Starting with the main floor - an elegant dining room with seating for six. Adjacent to the kitchen is a breakfast nook with a table for two and a bar counter to seat two more. The kitchen includes abundant cookware, a coffee station, electric kettle, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, table-top icemaker, and wine fridge. In the living room, you will find Italian leather furniture, a 65” TV, and a sunny bay window area to curl up with your favorite book. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with two twin beds. A full bathroom with ceramic tile shower and tub is just down the hallway from the bedrooms. Venture downstairs into the fully furnished living area with abundant Fighting Irish memorabilia. Watch your favorite shows on the 75” TV or have fun playing on the foosball table. There is also a full bathroom and shower here for your convenience. In the private back yard, enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail under the shaded pergola, all surrounded by a 6’ privacy fence. At night, enjoy the string lights and solar sculptures surrounding the patio. There’s also a new gas grill (available upon request). There is a private driveway adjacent to the house, which can park up two cars stacked, and there is also free street parking. No pets allowed. No smoking permitted anywhere on the property. Quiet neighborhood time after 9 PM.
