Great location specially if arriving by train as hotel is up a hill i front of the gare. Yes, you have to climb a short steep hill from the station. We had a little sitting area to hang out in without resorting to messing up the beds. Bath is rather small, even for a petite person like myself.

Absolutely luxurious, with inspiring interior design both in the room and lobby. Unbelievably affordable. Only cost is the extremely steep slope you'll need to risk your life pulling your luggage up

Stayed here for 80 CHF for 1 night including breakfast, amazing value for money, and really close to the train station. The restaurant has the best Thai food in Lausanne !
