About this cottage rental
Sunnyridge is within walking distance to the beach with fabulous views overlooking the bay and Trevose Head. With spacious open planned reverse accommodation, the lounge benefits from views of the ocean and to watch the evening Sunsets.
Porthcothan Bay is situated between Padstow and Newquay and Porthcothan has a local shop/cafe by the beach and a local bar open (in season) to the public 100yrds up the road (Macdonalds farm) They also do food onsite and live music during the summer months. Berryfields is also open to all with a cafe/tea rooms in Porthcothan and Joeys takeaway food.
You have access to beautiful walks along the coastline and valley all on the doorstep with Padstow & Newquay close by in either direction, its the central gateaway to all Cornwalls wonderful attractions.
Downstairs consists of an entrance hall leading to the 3 bedrooms.
Bedroom one has a king size bed with French doors opening onto the patio garden, a walk-in wardrobe and a door leading to the bathroom with bath and over shower.
Bedroom two has 1 single bed and a built in wardrobe, another door also leads into the same bathroom.
Bedroom three has a double bed, wardrobe and a door leading onto the patio garden.
Stairs lead from the hall up to the living accommodation with an open planned light spacious kitchen with breakfast bar / dining area and lounge. The kitchen is fitted with oven, dishwasher, gas hob, washing machine and fridge freezer with a beautiful granite worktop and breakfast bar with stools. The dining table seats 5 people and velux windows creates a light/airy feel. The lounge is situated at the end with French fully opening patio doors with glass balustrade giving way to a field overlooking the Ocean, Wills Rock and Trevose Head in the distance. The sunsets during the summer months are spectacular.
A door from the kitchen leads to a snug room for a quieter space with tv, games & books with views overlooking fields out the back. A doorway also leads to another spacious shower room with w/c and basin.
Outside there is an enclosed garden part laid to lawn and patio with a bench chair and wooden garden table. Steps lead up to an upper seating area with glass surround perfect for coffee mornings or just sitting /sunbathing in the sun.
Parking is on the drive just outside the garden gate accessed off a quiet no through road.
