Prepare meals in the contemporary kitchen area then dine at the table by the window. Choose a game to play together at the comfortable lounge end of the bright space or settle down to your favourite show on the Smart TV. Open the French doors to the balcony on fine summer days. Carry a chilled bottle of wine outside on balmy evenings or choose to sit out on the patio in the lower garden instead, while the children have fun on the grass.
Venture 4.5 miles to Wadebridge to pick up the Camel Trail, an 18-mile walking or cycling route that is largely with no traffic. Have a day out in Padstow, 13 miles away, famed for it trendy boutiques and fine seafood restaurants. Enjoy a stroll out along the South West Coast Path, perhaps the 2-mile section from Polzeath out to Pentire Point. Look out for dolphins, seals and basking sharks.
