You’ll be just 1 mile from the peaceful village of Bassenthwaite, where a stream trickles through the heart of the community and a charming village pub. A short drive (7 miles) takes you to the bustling market towns of Keswick and Cockermouth, both packed with shops, cafes and oodles of local charm. If you’re craving lake days, Bassenthwaite Lake (0.7 mile) is ideal for gentle walks, wildlife watching, and wild swimming, with options for sailing, rowing, kayaking and canoeing too. If you’re in the mood for some pampering, book yourself a treatment at Armathwaite Hall Spa (1 mile). Or head to the Lake District Wildlife Park (1 mile), and experience a fun filled day out in a beautiful setting.

On arrival, there is step-free access to the front door and into the single-level, beautifully presented abode. From the hallway, you’ll find the well-equipped kitchen. Next is the light-filled living/dining room featuring inviting seating, a Smart TV and wide French doors which you can open to let the outside in. The property is decorated in a welcoming style, with artwork on the walls, elegant floral prints and neutral colour schemes so you feel at home.
