About this cottage rental
This superb listed building was once a school for Howick Village, and is part of the Howick Estate, which was the home of the 2nd Earl Grey for whom the famous tea was blended. He became Prime Minister in 1830 and his monument stands at the top of Grey Street in Newcastle. The shoreline is just 400 metres away on a stunning coastal stretch designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a Site of Special Scientific Interest where you can enjoy spectacular views of Dunstanburgh Castle, interesting bird life and wild flowers on a walk to Craster or Alnmouth.
Ground floor - Living/dining room with vaulted ceiling, TV with Freeview and CD radio. Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
