BEDROOMS / SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
Bedroom 1: King bed with en suite bath, 55` TV. sitting couch, private deck w/2 lounge chairs, fire pit, and outdoor couch.

The kitchen is equipped for maximum occupancy with basic dining, cooking, and serving essentials, including plates, bowls, silverware, glasses, utensils, and accessories such as a can opener, wine opener, and measuring spoons. A spice rack, salt, and pepper are provided. Other cooking supplies, such as oil, foil, and cling wrap, are not included.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
High-speed WiFi and cable/satellite TV.
Starter supplies are provided, including trash bags, paper towels, a sponge, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, laundry pods.
Beach toys, two 8-foot soft-boards, chairs, and umbrellas are available.
Private laundry room.
TOWELS & LINENS:
Bath and beach towels are provided.
Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for guests.
Iron and ironing board.
IMPORTANT HOUSE RULES:
No smoking is allowed inside or outside. No exceptions. Laguna Beach has a smoke-free ordinance banning smoking in all public places. Violations will result in additional fees.
No pets allowed, except approved ADA service animals.
Parking is limited to two vehicles.
Guests must be 25 years or older to book.
This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is best suited for quieter groups. The rental agreement includes a strict no-tolerance policy for excessive noise, occupancy, or parties. Violations may result in the forfeiture of deposits or eviction.
The cancellation policy is strictly enforced.

Very nice house we loved our stay. Perfect location. We walked everywhere. I did buy extra cleaning supplies, including a mop, which I left for the next renters. There was a slight problem with tiny moths downstairs.

View amazing. Very dated property with deferred maintenance. No amenities, no wash cloths or guest towels and only one bath towel per guest. Coffer maker was from the 1980s. A lot of money for what you actually get. The pictures on line are not even close to what the property actually looks like.

The good parts up front: This rental could not be in a better location if you are visiting Laguna Beach. You can basically walk anywhere, and the parking spot, though difficult to navigate if you have a large vehicle, is nice to have given the difficulty with parking in town. The rental also comes with plenty of towels, which are necessary, more on that below.
Now for the not so good: the place is old, beat up, and generally not well cleaned. Ironically, there are little cards all over the place that say something like "we cleaned even under here," but in many cases the dust and sand visibly present in those locations was a little startling. The furniture is falling apart in some places, and the general disrepair of the place leave it looking FAR less swanky and beautiful then the pictures would lead you to believe.
The ceilings are also VERY low, so if you're six foot or taller you really need to watch your head.
The most disappointing part is the listing claims the place sleeps 8. But even with the most generous accounting for bed and couch space, you can MAYBE get seven adults.
The most frustrating was the complete lack of thought for how to clean off sand from your body after you leave the beach. There is no outdoor shower, and the only source of running water is located upstream from the front entrance. There is only a little hose provided, which means every time you return from the beach you're washing off your body and feet in front of the door where the water pools and literally floods the entire area around the front door.
I spent more time vacuuming up sand in this house then I do vacuuming my own home. There was sand everywhere, which I realize may be expected when you're living near the beach, but this was excessive. If it weren't for the large stockpile of towels (to use as door mats), we would have brought the entire beach back to the house because we had no way of reasonably washing it off.
Overall, I would rent this place again, but only if the price was half of what we paid. It is simply too expensive when all that you're really getting for the price is the location to town. I would far prefer to spend that much money on a place up the hill a way and just find parking when we go to the beach.
With that said, with some simple renovations, the addition of a lengthy hose, and an accurate accounting for space (not to mention accurate photos), this place could be worth the price we paid.
