About this cabin rental
At the heart of the lodge is a well-appointed eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters, perfect for cooking and sharing meals after a day of exploration. The entry features a mudroom, a leather dining banquette with table for lingering over dinner or cards, comfortable sitting chairs, and a beautiful old wood-burning stove. The living room centers around a massive rock fireplace, ideal for games, movies, or curling up with a good book.
Just steps from the Lodge sits the Lost Library, a hand-hewn log cabin over a century old, retrofitted as a space for recreation and reflection. Enjoy the billiard table, ping pong, and book-lined shelves, or step outside to the adjacent covered pavilion, “Cook-Out Cove,” equipped with picnic tables for outdoor gatherings and celebrations. Recreation unfolds across the property, from private river frontage to grassy meadows and the serene Turtle Pond.
When you're ready to venture beyond the property, you're minutes from Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, the Cradle of Forestry, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and fly-fishing on the Pigeon River. The nearby towns of Canton, Waynesville, and Brevard offer charming shops, galleries, and cafés worth exploring.
