Dear guests & holidaymakers, we would like to inform you that we currently have 8 flats. If this flat is no longer available, we have 4 more flats with the same facilities for 4 people and 3 more flats for 2 people. With us you can enjoy peace and nature in a modern & newly built sustainable flat. Pets are expressly permitted here. Our houses are the last on the left before the nature reserves begin. We attach great importance to relaxing stays. We look forward to welcoming you! The flat has a bathroom with WC and shower, hairdryer, washing machine and tumble dryer including towels. The flat also has a guest WC. Underfloor heating, supplied by environmentally friendly geothermal energy in combination with photovoltaics, is available throughout the flat. The sleeping facilities consist of a double room and a twin room in which the single beds can be joined together. Bed linen is of course included in the price. There is also a sofa bed in the living room, which can also be used. You also have access to a storage room where you will find other appliances for everyday use. These include a hoover, an ironing board, an iron and the usual household cleaning products. Weather permitting, you can use the seating furniture on the balcony to have breakfast, dinner or simply relax. In our fully equipped kitchen you will find everything you need for cooking. You will find a cooker with ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, coffee machine, blender, toaster, kettle and electric grill. Free W-Lan is of course also available as well as a satellite TV & a HIFI stereo system. A separate entrance with direct parking space and charging facilities for electric vehicles provides easy access to your holiday flat via a few steps. If you are travelling with a motorbike, we will be happy to provide you with our garage. The same applies to your e-bikes. In the event that one of your vehicles needs to be repaired, additional tools for motorbikes and bicycles are also available. On our 4000 square metre property there is plenty of space to play and run around, for example on the playground, which your children are welcome to use. In case of bad weather, we have a common room where you can borrow lots of books or games. You can also help yourself to various toiletries if you have forgotten your own. A travel cot and high chair are also available on request for very young guests. Please do not hesitate to contact us. On request, we also offer a shuttle service to Nideggen-Brück railway station if you wish to arrive or depart on the Rurtalbahn. We look forward to welcoming you! You have access to a large area with several barbecue facilities and a large fireplace to enjoy the evenings with a view of the valley. On the meadow you have additional space to move and play freely. There is a small playground where your children can run around and let off steam. We also have a room with a large selection of books on various topics, games and various toiletries, should you have forgotten something. If you like, you can stock up on a Senseo coffee machine or enjoy a drink from a large selection of our fully automatic coffee machines. All guests also have the opportunity to charge their electric vehicle at one of our charging points. If you have any questions before your arrival, we will be happy to answer them by phone. We live on site and can almost always be found on the premises. The Eifel National Park and Lake Rursee are nearby excursion destinations. There are also countless leisure activities in the region, such as hiking, cycling, boat trips on the Rursee, kayak tours, quad tours, e-bike hire, a high ropes course, playland for children, guided tours through the Eifel National Park, swimming pools, outdoor pools and much more. Within the village of Schmidt there are shopping facilities for daily needs, 2 bakeries, a supermarket, a post office, a petrol station, a pharmacy, but also a doctor (general practitioner) and a dentist are there. Larger purchases can be made in Heimbach or Nideggen, which are approx. 10 minutes away by car. Three restaurants offer the possibility to have a good dinner in the immediate vicinity after an exciting day of hiking or excursions, if you want to keep your own kitchen cold. Two banks (Sparkasse and Volksbank) are located in the village.
