The bathroom and bedroom have been restored beautifully to showcase period features. Everything felt luxurious!
I loved all the little details and thoughtful touches. The bedding was very comfortable (gorgeous pillows) and the towels were lovely and big. Just beautifully done!
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the pub downstairs was lovely! Lots of delicious food, some board games, and a great ambience. There was a little noise in the evening (which we expected, staying above a pub) but it had quietened down by about 11pm and the night itself was very peaceful.
This is only a small thing, and I think it's mentioned in the listing on here, but the bathroom is located across the hallway. We were told that the bathroom was private (only for us to use) and it seemed to be private for the most part, but we heard someone using the shower in the morning. I was staying with my partner so this was more of a funny moment, but if I wanted to mention it because I might have felt more uncomfortable if I was staying alone (as a single woman).
Overall, we had a lovely stay and I can't recommend enough! This is a hidden gem that has been so beautifully restored to its former glory.

Location was fine
Had to use extension lead to fit my iphone charger and straighteners as the plug sockets were in restrictive places.

I had to undertake a day's work at Charing Cross Hospital, so i wanted a hotel as close as possible to minimize morning travel. This property is about 3 mins away. The bed is very comfortable, decor is really nice and there's a well lit table were I could work. Plenty of space in the room, with a good sized ward robe. Plenty of tea / coffee. Nothing whatsoever to complain about
I was slightly surprised to find that the bathroom and toilet were across the landing (all very well specified with nice toiletry items). As the guest room at the property is a sole one, the bathroom / toilet facilities are private, but i was slightly surprised, but not bothered by this.

A really traditional pub that had a brilliant atmosphere! The room was absolutely charming with coffee facilities and so quiet at night! Such a reasonable price for London .
Nothing. No breakfast available but that wasn't a problem at all as Fulham Palace Road is very close! What I did like was there was no television in the room! Six Nations was on when I arrived downstairs and the clientele from both sides was friendly and welcoming! It was nice to retire to some peace and quiet !
