About this campground/ rv resort rental
Each tent is perched on a sturdy wooden platform and features a fully furnished deck, providing a cozy space to relax and soak in the breathtaking ocean (Half Moon Bay views) and forest views (Kings Mountain).
All tents include a mini fridge and a stove, ideal for light cooking, intimate fireside storytelling, and warmth during cool days.
We suggest you bring easy-to-prep food, drinks, warm clothes, hiking shoes, and a beanie, as it can get chilly without notice. Your designated parking space is a 6-minute walk from the campsite (downhill on arrival, then back uphill (steep) in the forest), so we recommend traveling light.
Our campsite is nestled within the same property as our charming little farm. If you're interested in meeting our friendly farm animals, get in touch, and we'll be delighted to arrange a visit at a time that works best for you and them.
Our goats roam the land all day and may visit you for pets and nuzzles. They are gentle, but please do not feed or let them inside the tent.
Recharge from the day with a hot shower. Grab your fresh towels from your tent and go to your outdoor allocated bathhouses, where you’ll find an indoor shower and well-appointed restrooms. They are nicely lit and stocked with bath products.
KM is famous for its hiking and biking trails nestled amongst the redwoods. The closest is a 15-minute walk from our campsite, and others are within a 15-minute car ride.
Tent 02 (210sqft) accommodates 4 people: two in a queen-size bed and two in a bunk bed. Special feature: Outdoor suspended net. Tent 02 is 200 feet away from 1; 75 f from 3.
- Shower and bathroom (Distance from tent 02 30 feet) shared
We have just added a picnic area with a BBQ (we sell charcoal) and an EV charger (Level 2, $5 per hour, subject to availability).
You’ll find 4 fresh eggs from our farm (with the option to purchase more at our farm stand when available), as well as tea, Grand Coffee SF, and drinkable tap water. Each tent includes indoor and outdoor furniture such as chairs, beds, a closet, and storage containers. Bedding includes one comforter, pillow, wool blanket, and cotton linens per person, ensuring a cozy and comfortable stay.
Appliances are powered by solar electricity, so please use them mindfully. You’ll have a hot water kettle, coffee maker, mini fridge, a camping stove with two extra gas canisters, and a wood stove with plenty of firewood, two fire starters (or you may purchase more at our farm stand), and a lighter. For cooking, we provide plates, bowls, cups, mugs, salt, pepper, minimal cookware (one pot and one pan), and minimal cutlery (sharp knives are not available).
Each tent comes with one designated parking spot, and additional parking may be available upon request. The outdoor bathhouse includes hand towels and bath towels (one per person per stay), hot water (limited, so please use mindfully), and amenities such as body wash, shower gel, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a toilet. The bathhouse should remain tidy, and towels should not be left inside at any time.
For entertainment and extras, you’ll have access to Starlink WiFi, board games (Uno, chess, playing cards, Monopoly, Scrabble), books, binoculars, a radio, a harmonica, hand fans, and a hot water bottle. A first aid kit is also provided.
In the common spaces, “The Lookout” offers an evening campfire upon request. Fires in this area are not permitted during high fire danger, fog, or rain. Only hosts may manage the Lookout campfire. Please note that guests are not allowed to light fires on their own anywhere on the property, with the sole exception of using the existing BBQ grill in the picnic area and the tent wood stove.
The shared BBQ and picnic area is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please keep it clean, bring your own charcoal (or purchase some at our farm stand) and BBQ tools, avoid leaving food or belongings unattended, and return any items you borrowed from your tent. The shared sink area should also be kept clean, and belongings should never be left behind. You’ll also find a hammock and swing for relaxing.
We check you in personally and walk you through everything you may need during your stay. Please note that we do not provide in-tent service or on-demand assistance inside the tents. The host is available to answer questions from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm daily.
We’re also excited to share that we’ve recently added a menu of services and activities to enhance your stay. Ninety percent of each fee goes directly to your local provider, helping us support our wonderful mountain community. If you’d like to book any of these offerings, send us a message — we’d be happy to help you choose the option that suits you best. Early booking is recommended to ensure availability.
