The Rogue River House is an amazing 2.4 acre gated and fully fenced estate located directly on the Rogue River, 5 miles east from Grants Pass, Oregon. It has been rumored that it was built for a famous Hollywood star in 1939. The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms within 3900 sq. ft. of living space to accommodate up to 8 people. The home is nestled among towering pines fronting the beautiful Rogue River. This home is your private resort getaway. Make no mistake, the house, view, river, pool and the setting will take your breath away. This is an upscale vacation home with all the amenities. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. Sweeping views of the Rogue River and the surrounding mountains to the north are yours from almost every room. Take a dip in the large solar heated pool or walk our private access path down to the river's edge to fish. Comfortably furnished family room and living room with a wall of windows overlooking the pool and river. Fully equipped eat-in kitchen, formal dining room to seat 12, wireless high speed internet, 4 TVs, two refrigerators, a box freezer and a large laundry room with washer and dryer. The master bedroom with ensuite bath, guest bedroom and a full bath are located on the main floor. The family room has a comfortable pull out queen sofa air bed. Downstairs is a third bedroom with ensuite bath, a bunk bed and queen sofa pull out bed with separate access to the back yard. All bedding, towels, pool towels and ice chests are provided for your use. The back yard has a solar heated pool, three large decks, patio tables with chairs, lounge chairs, umbrellas and a propane BBQ. You can access the river down a private path from the backyard where there is a private viewing deck for your use, a private fishing beach and a private 2 mile walking trail along the river's edge. We are located minutes from shopping, restaurants, wine tasting, golf, fishing, rafting, 1 hour to the Oregon Caves, 2 hours to the Oregon coast, the California Redwoods and Crater Lake. Or just lounge at pool's edge with your favorite beverage. It's all yours!!
