Perched on the sun-kissed slopes of Mount Pantokrator, in the traditional village of Spartilas, Villa Oliveta is a sophisticated, luxury maisonette-style retreat that seems to float above the shimmering bay of Ipsos. Spread across five consecual levels, and connected by both internal and external stone staircases, Villa Oliveta features three air-conditioned bedrooms in the main house, a fully self-contained annex with private access, a sun-drenched swimming pool that appears to hang above the bay (3.0 × 7.0 m), and a tranquil garden on its lowest level—perfect for sun therapy, quiet contemplation, or enjoying the cool sea breeze drifting up from the open sea.
The main entrance sits on a quite sloping approach and opens into a bright, beautifully appointed open-plan area with comfortable lounge seating, a dining space, a modern, fully equipped kitchen, and a guest WC. We travelled slightly out of peak season, so the heated pool made all the difference. Swimming with those views, even in the evening, was a real highlight.

Spartilas is a lovely village, and the villa feels very much part of the landscape. It's peaceful, scenic and a real contrast to the busier beach areas below.

We stayed as a family group and loved how the villa is laid out. The separate annex was ideal, and the different terraces meant everyone could find their own quiet corner.
