I liked that it was a basic, clean, safe room that was inexpensive during the Cannes Film Festival. I also liked that it was across the street from one of the film festival's venues (the IMAX). And I also liked that it was across the street from a bus stop that would take festival-goers to the center of town.
I had to watch a youtube video for how to use the thermostat to turn the air conditioning on. I also was confused about what some of the light switches did -- there was one light switch, for example, that seemed to turn on just the electricity in the whole room, but I suppose that's just how light switches are in Europe. Eventually I figured it all out. I didn't love that I couldn't leave the window open, felt like an intruder could climb into the window if I fell asleep with the window open.
