Saltburn House Hotel

Family room was two bedrooms and large and breakfast was a good choice and cooked fresh.

Walk in shower was lovely but could have done with a shelf or soap holder

Spotlessly clean, staff couldn’t do enough for you, fantastic location. On-street parking and a small car park too. Breakfast simple but plentiful and kitchen accommodating to requests.

Decor is slightly outdated and in need of some maintenance, but everything was really clean. Bed was comfortable enough but would benefit from an upgrade.

A lovely Hotel, near the beach, very charming. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was alright, no service during the stay (but if you need anything, just ask). Due to a gas leak (earlier that week?)we got no hot water for 2 days which was a bore, but, well, you got something to tell when you get home. The hotel is very charming, the breakfast room is astonishing!Our room was bigger than most we got during our vacation and bathroom even got a washing line -big plus!! On our last day the leak was fixed, so everything was fine.

Ok if you wanted Full English but just a few cereals and 2 loaves of sliced bread for toast otherwise. Service was extremely slow. Rooms were clean

No hot water to wash or shower in bathroom and light over washbasin not working. I presumed that this was a ‘one-off ‘ problem but on reading earlier reviews in the month found that this had happened before to several customers. Seems to be that ‘cold water’ is the norm!
