Very clean, private.
Kitchen utility was bit limited. It would be good if you have tongs, knife, and kitchen scissors. Also dish rack for dishwashing. A part from that, generally all good.

Location was ok for our drive to Kaipara Sculpture Garden the next day. Our room was basic and clean. We didn’t use the mineral pool in our room but it didn’t feel pristinely clean. We walked to a local restaurant but the takeaway meal was fairly tasteless.
The staff could have been more friendly and helpful. We tried to get a shower curtain to keep the floors dry but that was too difficult for the staff to arrange. The pools all need deep cleaning. The main hot pool had slime on the walls and entry steps which was concerning. Extra pool towels could have been provided.
