good location that is handy to get to & from with a full size Morrisons store directly opposite which you could walk to in maybe 3 or 4 minutes. Good parking & plenty of room for 4 or 5 cars if need be. Good size rooms throughout all are well furnished. I only tried 1 bed but it was very comfy, the rest felt comfy when sat on. The sette's in the living room are quite low but they are comfy and the room is a good size. Kitchen is again a good size & is well appointed it also has a 6 person table & chairs to eat off, this has a strange fridge that has sliding draw compartments but it works well, there is wall mounted TV, a dish washer for those who know how to use them [but no wash tablets that I could see. The main bathroom looks like it has recently been renewed & tiled but the shower is a corner one which may look nice but means you cant really bend over that easily to wash your legs or pick up the soap etc this would have been much better as a standard square shower, but no shower gel. There is a washing machine that can be used [assuming you know how to use such things, personally I have staff at home to do that sort of stuff though] There is a covered area to the rear of the property that looks over a field so assuming its nice enough you could sit out there on the provided chairs. Towels provided are usually a problem with most supplying the cheapest they could find but at this property they have provided good size & good quality bath towels throughout. There is a 2nd toilet & shower, the shower is an electric one which are never that good but they are they and can be used. I have travelled all up & down the country for many years doing my job and I can honestly say that whilst there are some minor things that could be improved and I'm sure the owners will do so given feedback, this is one of the best properties I have stayed in & I would recommend it highly.
Some of the internal doors need to be trimmed at the bottom to stop them riding/rubbing on the new carpets, this would be quite noisy at night if you got up and opened the doors to go to use the toilet, it will also damage the new carpets. The heating takes a bit of getting used to as its electric, if available it would benefit from gas central heating which I'm sure would be cheaper than the electric one in now as its more controllable. The outside case of heater in the hall gets extremely hot and it would be very easy to burn yourself on it in the morning when its at its hottest. the needs a cover around it & maybe signage to warn of hot surfaces. Living room sette's are low and i struggled to get out of them easily + they are a leatherette/leather material so you stick to them. There is no freezer [that i could find] which is disappointing as it restricts what you can take or keep. The hot water wasn't on when I go there but I soon found the immersion heat switch, I don't thing the 2nd heater at the bottom of the tank was working though & should be looked at. the outside doors open outwards which takes a bit of getting used to but it isn't detrimental. the living room TV is a smart TV but it was smarter than me it has a very odd guide menu that i could not get to work but there is a 2nd remote that you could use to select a channel number [assuming you know what channel you want that is] no internet at time of writing which wasn't a problem for me but I'm told it was due to be fitted on 11th May as long as virgin media turn up that is.
