Das Apartment hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Alles ist neu, sauber und hell. Die Wohnung ist stilvoll eingerichtet, das Bett und das Sofa sind bequem. Wir haben uns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es gibt Kaffee und Tee, Zucker, Salz und Pfeffer, Tabs für die Spülmaschine, ein Geschirrtuch und sogar einen Milchaufschäumer. Alles ist in einem sauberen Zustand, so dass man auch gerne zugreifen mag. Das Bad war sehr sauber, die Handtücher und Bademäntel flauschig und es gibt wie schon in der Küche Annehmlichkeiten wie Shampoo und Duschgel, einen Fön mit Aufsatz, eine Taschentücher-Box, Abschminkpads und eine Duschhaube. Es ist an alles gedacht, es gibt sogar Regenschirme. Das Wasser roch nicht nach Chlor, das fanden wir sehr angenehm. Der Check-in und der weitere Kontakt mit dem Vermieter liefen reibungslos. Die Lage ist perfekt um alles zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Gegend ist sicher. Wir können den Aufenthalt in der Suite in Town House uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen wieder.

Beautifully finished apartment. Everything felt brand new. It was like an upmarket, spacious hotel room. Alessandro gave us the entrance instructions via WhatsApp and communicated with us well about arriving and leaving. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the main square and around 15 mins walk from the station so all good with the location.
The underfloor heating seemed to be centrally controlled and we were really hot (in march, so it was a bit cold outside). There was street noise early in the morning from the roadworks - not the fault of the apartment.

The apartment is absolutely beautiful, fantastically presented and well equipped. It is also in a brilliant location for you to explore Bologna. There are a lot of things to like!
Here is where it falls apart. I have stayed in over 20 booking.com properties in Italy and never left a review less than 10 (or left nothing at all) but the apartment was unlivable.
The temperature was 27 degrees in the evening (and outside the temperature peaked at 19 degrees, it isn't summer). I messaged the owner, who was great but full of excuses about the "communal" heating (this is a business not a charity, I've never witnessed something like this in Italy). His answer was to use the fans in the ceiling which was just recirculating hot air, and a Dyson air fan which is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
The problem was that the apartment is like a greenhouse in the day, but in the evening it is a busy road so you can't open the doors (Italian drivers are happy to use their horns at 3am) and the roadworks started at 5am, paired with a lot of mosquitos!
Over 2 nights I got 7 hours sleep, this ruined our second day in Bologna, luckily we went home the day after so it didn't ruin another day.
I wouldn't stay here again, but the apartment was lovely.
