This cute cabin was the perfect getaway for us! It is off the main road, and feels secluded. We went when there was still a fair amount of snow, so be prepared to stomp your way to the door (it was so fun!). We saw some beautiful birds and chipmunks - the scenery is so serene and peaceful. Has great amenities: TV with subscription login options, fireplace with fully stocked supplies to build all the toasty fires, clean and well stocked kitchen (we cooked some of our meal delivery dinners without issue), a coffee maker, microwave, and water filtering reservoir in the fridge, and ice cube trays (for someone who loves ice and clean water this is a big bonus for me). There's some fun board games, and a record player with a good collection of vinyl!
The beds are comfortable, and the pillows were a highlight for me (as someone with neck pain). Different options for different needs (soft vs more firm pillows). Bedding and linens smell good and clean. We liked the feeling of the queen room with its quaint windows and privacy curtains - it felt like an even more secluded hideaway. You won't be cold sleeping here as the bedding options can let you pile on all the blankets! The heating system also does a great job of keeping the upstairs toasty.
The closest grocery store was about 30 minutes away, so we got pizza for lunch, hit the store to stock up, and had a lovely long 4-day weekend here.
We highly enjoyed our visit here, and were sad to leave.

This cozy cabin was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated with thoughtful "bear" touches throughout. The kitchen was well-stocked with essential utensils, making it easy to prepare meals, and the beds upstairs were comfortable and provided a good night’s rest.
We especially enjoyed the quiet surroundings—sipping tea on the deck in the morning sunshine was a simple but memorable highlight. The location was convenient for exploring the area, with easy access to hiking trails, kayaking spots, Lake Alpine, the Stanislaus River close to Boy Scout wilderness camp.
Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable weekend getaway. A great spot for anyone looking to unwind and spend time in nature.

I loved how cozy this little cabin was. It is really close to Lake Alpine, only a 15 minute drive. It is also close to the ski resort. Love it!!!
