NEARBY: 5 minutes' walk from the Armançon river (fishing, swimming - picnic tables). 5 minutes' walk from the Canal de Bourgogne, on a 240 km cycle route. 10 minutes' walk from the Château d'Ancy le Franc and its formal gardens. Listed as a Historic Monument, the Château d'Ancy le Franc is representative of the Renaissance art of living and is without parallel in France. PROPERTY : * Two completely independent houses around a courtyard. At your disposal: * Above-ground wooden swimming pool 5x3m - depth 1.20m (private for the gîte with free access 24/24) with counter-current swimming, pool lighting and Aqua-Bike inside the barn, heated all year round to a minimum of 28° in summer and 30° in winter. Water treated with active oxygen, no chlorine. * 2.80m French billiards table located in the stable, which is partially heated and therefore a little chilly in winter * Table tennis table in the barn. * René Pierre table football also in the stable. * 4 adult bicycles and a draisienne for the little ones. * Children's trailer (2 children - max 40 kg). * Dining area and covered outdoor summer lounge with comfortable sofas. * Garden with deckchairs * Large swing. GITE: On two levels, the gîte comfortably sleeps 2 to 4 people. A large bedroom on the first floor with a 140x190 bed and a 2-seater sofa bed with ultra-comfortable mattress for daily sleeping. It is also possible to sleep a small child in addition (sofa bed). EQUIPMENT and READY TO USE: Kitchen: induction hob, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, fridge, separate freezer, all utensils. Dishwasher. Washing machine Television (Canal Satellite). Wifi DVD and Blue-Ray player For babies: cot, high chair, playpen, swing, shower bouncer. Books for adults and children Board games. AND THEN... Possibility of parking one or two cars in the enclosed courtyard. Bicycles can be stored under cover. BED LINEN, HOUSEHOLD LINEN AND TOWELS PROVIDED - BED(S) MADE ON ARRIVAL. Babysitting available on site (qualified Educatrice de Jeunes Enfants). NO CLEANING REQUIRED ON DEPARTURE. RATES : Minimum two nights. Arrival from 3pm - departure before midday. FOR JULY AND AUGUST : WEEKLY RENTAL ONLY. Our friends the dogs are unfortunately not accepted. Our spaniel is friendly with cats but not with other dogs.
