The hotel was very clean and the staff were superb and incredibly friendly. Breakfast was wonderful with a wide variety of options and the staff even brought out a gluten-free basket of bread and muffins once they found out one of us was celiac.
Room was small, which was not a huge problem, it just meant we needed to put our luggage up onto our beds to open them up each time. Location about 12-15 min walk to Piazza Tasso, again not a huge problem except for the rain and somewhat limited mobility of my traveling partner. Otherwise no issues with the property…the hospitality of the staff outweighed these issues.

Very well laid out reception area and restaurant. Room was really good, comfortable beds, excellent showers. Fabulous roof terrace with amazing sea views and of Mount Vesuvius.

The breakfast was very good.
Rooms were small but were comfortable enough.
The location was further from the main square than expected, and the walk back up was all uphill.
The room was extremely noisy as we were situated at the side of the hotel, which is located on a very busy road.that had traffic. From 7am there is noise, cleaners and other guests opening and.closing doors and because of the way this hotel is built you hear every noise, even.cjairs been moved around.
We felt we were always rushed out of the breakfast room. You literally would only put a cup down, and they were taking things off the table.
As stated above, the room was very small, and the bathroom didn't have a lot of privacy because there was only a small sliding door. There is no room service and no kettle or tea making facilities.
And finally it was very expensive for what we actually received. Is it really a 4-star rating? Not in our opinion.
