Incredible location, great walking distance to many of the places we spent most of our time over the stay. The staff were all lovely, especially the lady that checked us in! It was good value for money.
We hadn’t realised it was a shared bathroom as it says this nowhere on linkedin, potentially our mistake, but could be clearer. Due to it being shared, it wasn’t exactly peak cleanliness. The mattress was a bit springy, and where the carpet met the wooden floor it was ridiculously spikey and really quite painful.

The lady who greeted us when we got there was very nice and helpful.
Not having an en-suite wasn't a problem as our room was opposite toilet/ bathroom.

Clean but didn’t realise it was a shared bathroom ( my mistake!), the room was small and the mattress wasn’t great. However we did sleep reasonably well as it was quiet.

Location is great and literally no road noise from outside. Staff on duty were very friendly and accommodating for our late arrival. Bar area was nice as was the beer. Bedroom was warm and bedding was fresh and clean. Shared kitchenette outside the bedrooms if you are self catering.
Could feel every spring in the bed. For the price, I was expecting an en suite but there was a small shared bathroom with some discarded used towels beside the sink above a carpeted bathroom floor.... The following night I stayed in a similar small guesthouse in another popular hiking town with better facilities, en suite and breakfast for £10 more. If the price of this accom was lower, I could justify it and go along with some shortcomings.
