Peaceful Room by a Little Stream

Location. Lade Brae trail into town and University. Access to other walking paths, groceries. Very friendly and helpful host.

I prefer a very firm bed. It is likely that other guests may prefer the pliant version at this location and find it more comfy.

I had a wonderful 2-night stay at this lovely coastal home! Although it’s a 30-minute walk to the city center, I actually found this to be a huge plus. You can choose between three scenic routes: a peaceful stroll through the park along the river, a walk past the beautiful botanical gardens, or a practical route via the Aldi and M&S Foodhall. If you're not in the mood for walking, the bus connection is also good. The host is a very sympathetic young woman and a recent Business Management graduate. This is her brand-new startup, and I have no doubt it will be a great success. The house is incredibly peaceful and offers a private section specifically for guests. On the first floor, there are two guest rooms, a reading nook with a very comfortable chair, and a bathroom featuring a great shower and a bidet toilet (washlet). Downstairs, you’ll find a small kitchen and a cozy living room with a view of the garden. The interior is designed in a beautiful minimalist style—everything is high-quality, clutter-free, and spotlessly clean. The lovely little plants throughout the house create a very calming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We had a good night sleep, Very comfortable bed, plenty of pillows with a duvet. parking for 2 cars, peaceful with Friendly and responsive host. bathroom with shower and bath, spotlessly clea, Good location and price.

The houses absolutely beautiful everything was so clean I was made to feel so welcome the areas are around the house are gorgeous and the host was super gracious and it's super close to the High Street everything was as expected even better the premier Inn I was looking at booking was going to be 700 pounds and I paid like 170 and it was better than any premier and experience I've ever had.
